CenterLine Welcomes Assumption Robotics Program & OYAP Students

Posted December 7, 2015

Over the course of two days CenterLine welcomed over 70 students to our facilities. On Thursday, December 3rd, we had Assumption Robotics Program students visit our Windsor headquarters. CenterLine's Tyler Alexander - Weld Engineering Supervisor, Luciano Mancini - Robotics Simulation Leader, and Raam Soundaran - Design Engineer, lead a very detailed tour starting with robotic simulation and design. The students were then taken to see the actual manufacturing of their lesson and finally the live robotic cell.

Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) students visited us on Friday, December 4th. Amherst, and Sandwich students toured our facilities and learned more about the manufacturing industry. CenterLine is a proud supported of the OYAP program and currently employees 14 OYAP students, with 9 more to start in the new year.

CenterLine is proud to offer these insightful and educational tours to students of all ages. With the need for skilled trades employees growing, we take it as part of our obligation to show our company as a viable and rewarding career option.
